Hello, I love this live videos. My question is, how do you enlarge quilt patterns? For instance from a 2 1/2 inch to a five inch finished size. There are a lots of patterns I would like to do but my arthritis says no little blocks. Keep up the good work you all do

Re: altering pattern to body size and too big question. A simple thing to double check, depending on pattern piece altered…. Be sure that you are dividing the additional width (for example) needed by the number of seams. For example, if I need 4 inches more at the waist, that would be one additional inch at each seam.

I altered my pattern based on my body measurements but the finished product was much too large. How do I avoid such disparity in the future?

How would you sew a lace appliqué onto sheer fabric with a sewing machine instead of hand stitching?

Any suggestions please when cutting out strips, squares, etc for quilting. I measure so carefully but somehow I’m always off after cutting or using rotary cutter. Thanks!
