I've been sewing since I was 10 years old. I'm going on 74 years old in a couple months. I love using my imagination and skills to create a one of a kind garment or follow a payers or doing alterations on my Thrift find! When my twins were born y50 years ago there wasn't much to choose for boys clothing so I made their outfits out of large plus size garments. It was cheaper than buying fabric from a store. I also made maternity jeans by cutting a pair of my jeans! I enjoy being creative!
