Ellen March teaches you step-by-step how to create a makeup brush holder with laminated cottons. The material can be sticky, so she introduces you to the walking foot and a teflon coated foot that will make your sewing process easier. You will learn tricks like using tape for pocket placement, gluing the velcro flap, and tying it in a bow.

Thank you Ellen. This is vey helpful. I’m going to make myself a bag from regular cotton to keep my crochet hooks in as well as one for my double pointed needles.

      Dear Edith,

Thank you for your patience. In response to your question-

The fun thing about this project is that there isn’t exact measurements needed for the rectangles- they just need to be the same size.

      Cheers,

      Dear Denise,

Thank you for your patience. In regards to your question-

The fun part of this project is that there are no exact measurements needed to make this- you simply need to start with three rectangles that are the same size.

      Cheers,

      Hi,

This is actually up to you. Around a 9″x11″ rectangle is similar to what was made in the tutorial, however you can cut your pieces to suit whatever it is you want to put in your holder.

      Hope this helps!
