When hemming stretch polyester/jersey fabric pants, the thread looked rippley and not flat and smooth like a normal stitch. What accounts for This/your advice please. Thank you!
Hi Diana. This is happening because the fabric is being stretched as you stitch. If you can, lessen the presser foot pressure on your machine. If you are not able to do this, stabilize the fabric using a knit stay tape along the edges of the fabric you will be stitching. You can also change out your presser feet and use a rolling foot, which can help making sure the fabric doesn’t get stretched.
Thanks
Ashley

Going to use the cosmetic bags for gift bags.
Good morning! I have been making overnight bags for all the ladies in my family for Christmas. Working with heavy interfacing has been a challenge. Has anyone else worked with the really heavy interfacing? Any hints?
I am making cosmetic bags.
