Hi! I just have a quick question about how to keep my sewing supplies in good working order. What’s the best way to go about sharpening a seam ripper?
Submitted via YouTube
Hi there! A seam ripper can be sharpened with steel wool or by using a tool called a bead reamer, which looks like a small rounded file. These can be found at most craft stores that carry beads.
Hope this helps!

Super article.
In the video, she just showed us how to use a seam ripper. She did not show us how to sharpen
There is a correct way to use a seam ripper, inserting the red ball end into the seam.https://www.google.com/search?q=how+to+use+a+seam+ripper+red+ball&client=safari&channel=mac_bm&source=hp&ei=BjQsZM7tEojIkPIP5NuuCA&iflsig=AOEireoAAAAAZCxCFmd4S25wQLYV1LyMZ1mMWKsSAKYQ&oq=using+a+seam+ripper&gs_lcp=Cgdnd3Mtd2l6EAEYATIFCAAQgAQyBggAEBYQHjIGCAAQFhAeMgYIABAWEB4yBggAEBYQHjIGCAAQFhAeMgYIABAWEB4yCAgAEBYQHhAPMggIABCKBRCGAzIICAAQigUQhgM6DgguEIMBENQCELEDEIoFOgsIABCABBCxAxCDAToOCC4QigUQsQMQgwEQ1AI6EQguEIAEELEDEIMBEMcBENEDOgsILhCABBDHARDRAzoOCC4QgAQQsQMQxwEQ0QM6CAgAEIAEELEDOgsIABCKBRCxAxCDAToRCC4QgwEQxwEQsQMQ0QMQgAQ6BwgAEIAEEAo6CggAEIoFELEDEAo6BQguEIAEUABY7DBgr3xoAHAAeACAAZ0BiAGKDZIBBDE1LjSYAQCgAQE&sclient=gws-wiz#kpvalbx=_GTQsZJ3GOfKfptQP6dyykA4_30
