Ellen March teaches you step-by-step how to create a makeup brush holder with laminated cottons. The material can be sticky, so she introduces you to the walking foot and a teflon coated foot that will make your sewing process easier. You will learn tricks like using tape for pocket placement, gluing the velcro flap, and tying it in a bow.

      Dear Sally,

Thank you for your patience. In response to your question-

The great thing about this project is that you can use any size of rectangle you want- you just need them all to be the same size.

      Cheers,

I made something similar, but on a larger scale for my craft paint brushes. Great for artists too!
Any sturdy weight fabric. I love home dec remnants, good weight and huge variety. Customize size to how many brushes you own, but add a few ‘vacant’ spaces for future additions to your collection.

Finding the fabric was impossible not even a large online fabric even knew what I was talking about.
Also no real measurements were given and I had to make up a size. I am not a pattern maker so it turned into a mess and had to throw it away. It was a real waste of time and fabric.

I’ve been doing the Sewing Challenge. I haven’t sewn much for many years, but we have a lot of new sewers in the group. I do not understand why there isn’t a list of materials needed. This one actually talks about needing paper clips, but never bothers to mention the dimensions of the 3 rectangles. Not much help. Other videos I’ve watched tell you half way through. Seriously, a waste of time. I like to get ALL of my materials ready before I start a project and I’m sure I’m not alone. Please start putting a list of what we’re going to need in the description so we don’t have to go through the video time and time again. Thank you.
